The Government, in accordance with the desire of International Labour (H'liee of the Dengue of Nations, is instituting a collection 01. household budgets throughout the Dominion and is offering cash prizes amounting to £IOO for tlie.be.st records of household receipts and expenditure kept over a. period of three months commencing in March next.

A “Householders’ Diary Account Book" has been designed for this purpose and a copy will be sent gratis and post free to any householder who wishes to enter for the competition, on request being made to the G-overnmenl Statistician, Wellington. Those who send entries for the competition may rely on the information supplied being: treated as confidential. Names only of the prize winners will lie published.
