PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
A meeting of managers of the local Presbyterian Church was held last evening presided over by the Rev. W. IT. Nicholas. Matters in connection with the forthcoming anniversary celebrations to commemorate • the 85th year of the late Rev. James Duncan's settling in Eoxton, were finalised. Among the visitors who have been invited to participate in the services arc the Revs. G. K. Aitken (Christchurch), Rev. Geo. Bud cl (Moderator-elect), Rev. Blanchard (St. John’s, Wellington), Rev. J. Paterson (St. Paul’s, Wanganui) and others. Other functions will include a garden party, banquet, and children s rally. Public notification of the celebrations will be advertised later.
