HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. flic Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram dated Ist instant from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London;— Hemp: —Manila market irregular, "J” grade January-. March shipments sold at €33 o/- to €33 10/-, market easier at the close. 'Feb-ruary-April shipment value £33. Sisal market easier in absence of trade demand. Good marks afloat offered at €34 and reported sold to America at .€33 15/-. Value for fair average quality No. 1, £33 5/to £33 10/- for early position, No. 2 20/- less. New Zealand market" dull with easier tendency. Nominal comparative closing values February-March shipment high fair, £32 10/- to £33 ; fair, £2B 10/- to £29; common, £27 10/-. To.vr, second grade, £2l; third grade, £lB.
