TOWN HALL

CTRiCT;S PICTURE 'TO-NIGHT,

Pictiiregoers are in for a rare I icnf at the Town Hall to-night, when “The Big Show” is to he screened. “The Big Show” is a novel film in which America’s largest circus is used as the background for a stirring melodrama. During the telling of the dramatic story a full circus performance is screened including trapeze acts, balancing turns and big animal performances. John Lowell and Evangeline Russell are the leading artists in this feature which is aptly described as three, shows in one—a circus, a wild west show, and a picture drama. Also “Red Hot Tamale” •(Comedy), News and Scenic. Usual prices. The third of Fox’s series of Rex Bell westerners, “The Girl-Shv Cowboy," at the Town Hall on Monday night, brings with it the tang of the open spaces and a lilting romance that advances this production far beyond the usual run of westerns. The story is a logical account of life in the sagebrush country without inflicting the whooping, bearded denizen of the range who for so long has monopolized western productions. The supporting cast is exceptionally good. Palsy O’Leary is seen opposite the star 1 . The others are George Aleeker, who appeared in “Four Sons,” Donald Stuart, Alar!.;arct Coburn, Betty Caldwell and Joan Lyons. R. Lee Hough directed the production. Usual prices.
