A FATAL DRINK.

♦ Te Puke, January 8. The death oe.oiu-rod at Te Telco on Monday of Mr. Thomas ITardy as the result of accidently drinking some disinfectant. The late Mr. Hardy, who was 53 years of age, was highly respected by all who know him. The deceased left England for Australia 29 years ago, coming to New Zealand 25 years ago. He engaged in farming, and during the past 17 years had resided at Te Teko. He was a keen 'sportsman and took great interest in athletics. He leaves a wife and family of :hree sons.
