HOME CHILDREN ENTERTAINED.
On the Saturday prior to Christmas the children of All Saints’ Beacli Ho-me -and staff Ave're entertained to a Christmas party at the residence of Mrs. John Robinson, Lady’s Mile. The children Avere conveyed to the party by Mr. R. Hart and spent a most enjoyable time in t-he grounds. Afternoon tea AA’as provided and a huge Christmas tree delighted the children. Everyone'Avas presented AY’itli a present from the tree by Father Christmas. The children spent a right royal time and their only regret Avas.that the afternoon seemed to pass so quickly.
t The children of the home leave on January 3rd for Palmerston N., where they Avill remain until the end of the month Avhile the Palmerston North children spend a month at the seaside. As usual arrangements for -the conveyance of the children and staff will be carried out by Mr. 5 T. Madge free of charge.
