WEDDING.

The weeding took place at St. Luke’s' Church, Greytown, on December 26 at 7 p.m., o£ Merle '(Bonnie) Jenks, daughter of Mrs. Loasby, Greytown, and the late A. E. Jenks, of Poxton, and Wilford, son of Mi’, and Mrs. C. W. Grigg, of GreytoAvn. The bride was given away by her step-father, Mr. D. P. Loasby, and wore a frock of apricot floral ninori over .apricot crepe-de-chine, Avith uneven hemline. Her A-eil was of apricot silk net,' worn over a cap of apricot lace, Avith trimming of pearls and orange blossom. The (bouquet was composed of golden roses, Christmas lilies and asparagus fern. Miss Evelyn Nichols Avas bridesmaid and wore an apricot erepe-de-chino frock with uneven hemline j and hat of apricot silk straw, and; carried a bouquet of golden, roses IwifK touches of heliotrope. Earley acted as best man. On leaving -the church the bride Avas by, her sister, Miss- Dot with a horseshoe composed of apricot satin trimmed Avith forget-me-nots and orange blossom. The reception Avas held at the OddfelloAvs’ Hall. The bride’s anothetr received the guests wearing a frock of navy blue lace and navy erepe-de-cbine coat, with

red hat and bouquet of red carnatios and sweet peas. The bride-

groom's mother was attired in a black crepe-de-chine frock, with black hat Avith touches of Avhite, and carried a bouquet of scarlet SAveet peas. The bride and bridegroom left for the Manawatu district where the honeymoon will be spent, the bride wearing a frock of navy crepe-de-chine Avith touches of lemon and navy coat with cream and lemon hat.

The Rev. D. J. Davies was the officiating minister.
