The two youthful sandbaggers were lief-oro the Children’s Court qt Wiangaiiui on Saturday. They admitted thefts of a quantity of brass number plates, locks, etc., and also the sandbagging of two residents. They stated that it/ was their intention to get money, but they’were i.ot successful. They had been reading- trashy literature relating-to crime. The Magistrate, Air. Salmon, placed them under the care of tiie Welfare -Officer for three years. He ordered that they were not to be later than 8 o’clock at night and that their literature was to he controlled.
