OTAKI DEFEATS FOXTON ' P— f i ' ■J

A further inter-lOlub match was played on the local courts on Saturday when Otaki met and defeated ‘Foxton by 9 games to 8. The match was closely contested throughout anfi prior to the last game the scores being 8 all. Apart from the inter-Club fixture, however, Foxton made the best showing on the day and when all the games of six aside were taken into consideration they emerged the victors by 13 sets to 10.
