Mr. Chaadie Baird, who has been seriously ill in the Palmerston N. hospital for a long period, is now convalescing at Foxton, wherfi he is staying with his brother. The friends of Miss Mbuntfort, infant mistress at the Foxton School, will be pleased to learn that she is making excellent progress; towards recovery from the illness which compelled her to enter a private hospital at Feilding.
