FOXTON BEACH IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE.
♦ ANNUAL REPORT AiN|D STATEMENT.
The following statement of accounts and work for the year ending November 30th, 1929, will be presented by Mr. A. G. Dawiek (chairman) to the annual meeting to be held in the hall on the 27th inst.:—
“We started the year with a credit balance in the Post Office of £3l 1/11 and an outstanding account owing of £4O. The income for the year was:—
Rent, of hall for school, £34 10/-; sports and beach collections, £27 14/9; receipts from hall, £l3 2/3; lennis'courts, £2 2/-; interest P. 0., £1 0/0; donations, £7 2/-. < “We have paid off the outstanding debt and have a efredit balance in the hank of £43 0/8. Ownig to lack of funds we were unable to do any permanent improvements during the year. The Health Department require us to make certain improvements to the ball, which are being carried out. The life-saving reel and swings have been overhauled and put in good order for the coming season.”
