CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor)

Sir, —'With your permission I Avould, seeing that our silver band is virtually moribund, make it a suggestion that all instruments he handed over to the District High School to form the nucleus of a boys.’ hand. Other schools have their hands, and as these instruments wore paid for by public subscription, Avould it not ’be better for them to be used for the above object than being in disuse, deteriorating in Amine as well as use. I ■invite criticism of'the above suggestion. Yours etc., E. G. AIA’RTIN.
