NOVEMBER WIORKIN G,
The amount of gas manufactured during the month of November as reported at last night’s Borough Council! meeting, was 000 ft. made a total of 395,400 ft. During the month 301,300 ft. was used 'by consumers, 20,000 ft. at the woiks and there was 9,000 ft. in the holder on November 30th, making a total of 330,900 ft. accounted for and leavnig '64,500ft. ■ representing 17.05 per cent, unaccounted for. Thirty tons 9evvt. of coal were earlionised, yielding 12,426c.ft. of gas to the ton and producing 7 tons of coke.
The receipts for the month totalled £224 10/7 and were made up as follows: —Gas sales (lighting) £ll 2/11, heat and power £143 12/1, coke sales £lO 14/2, tan 1 sales £4l 15/-, weighing 10/-, services and fittings £lO 0/3, miscellaneous 7/2.
The expenditure for the month totalled £-240 2/7, and was made up as follows: —‘Coal £BS 12/1, salaries and wages £BS 8/-, printing, etc. £5 5/-, cartage and freight 3/6, working expenses 2/6, repairs 4/3, Interest and Sinking Fund £O3 7/3.
