TRLVNGULMt SHIELD • CONTEST.

Weather permitting, the second (bound of the Triangular Shield contest will be held at Shannon tomorrow afternoon.

The aggregate scores of the first round, played at Levin last Wednesday, are as follows: —Levin, 4 games, 103; Shannon, 2 games, 27 points; Foxton, 2 games, 27 points. The averages per game arc therefore: Levin, 252 points; Shannon and Foxton, 13£ points each.

The local conveyances will leave Foxton green at 1.15 sharp. A reminder is given that entries for the Thomson Trophies pairs competition close to-morrow.
