THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: The indications are foil- westerly winds strong to gale but after about 24 hours backing by west to south. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable with passing showers. After about 24 hours weather will probably become colder. Barometer unsteady but later will rise slowly. Seas rough, tides good. ‘ _
