A special meeting of the Foxton Silver Band and all interested was held this week to consider the question of whether the Band should carry gr disband both baiidmastef and secretary having left, the district. Mi-. M. E. Perreau (president) took the chair at the meeting and,;the Band’s,.affairs were fully discussed. It was decided to kohl a further meeting on Tuesday evening next when some decision mill be definitely arrived at, bandsmen in tlie meantime being requested to hand in their..uniforms and instruments for checking purposes.
