ROAD CYCLE RACING.

Three road races were got oft’ lust evening by the Foxton Amateur Athletic Association, which attracted considerable public interest. The finishes in all events were very close and reflected credit ion the handicappens. The results were as follows: — Boys’ one mile (around the Johnston 'Street block): L. McCarthy (14sec.) 1 N. Cummerfield (20see.) 2 W. Neville (20sec.) ' 3 There were fifteen starters. Won by a wheel, a length separating second and third. Time i 3.25. One mile: E. Robinson (.lOsec.) 1 J. Satherley (18sec/) 2 C. McCarthy (14see.) 3 There were twenty-six competitors. The race was most exciting and won by the barest margin each way. Time 3.8£. Three mile points race. (Sprint at the end of each lap, around the Johnston Street block): J. Smith, 7 . points 1 W. Hussey, 5 points 2 E. Robinson, 4 points 3 Six competitors.
