ROAD CYCLE RACING.
Despite somewhat inclement conditions fifteen competitors faced the starter in Main Street last night in the three-mile road race under the auspices of 'the Foxton Amateur Athletic Association. The course was abound the Johnston Street block and the race resulted as follows: —• J. Smith (lOsec.) 1 L. King (15sec.) 2 K. Martin (Bsec.) 3 Won easily, a close finish between /second and third. Time 9.10.
