PRESBYTERIAN GIRLS’ BIBLE CLASS.
A very enjoyable and successful social was, given by the Girls’ Bible .Class on Friday evening in the Presbyterian Sunday School. The room was effectively decorated by the girls with coloured streamers, and the pretty frocks and happy faces made a very pleasing picture. There was a splendid response to the invitations issued and it was very pleasing to see members of oilier churches present. Air. Nicholas presided and a good programme and novel competitions and games kept the fun going. A very tasty and bountiful supper was provided and dispensed by the girls. bulling the evening Airs. Ross, on behalf of the Bible Class, presented a hook entitled “Pioneer Missionaries” to Air. Nicholas and a small pie!ure to Airs. Nicholas, after which “For They Are Jolly Good Fellows” was sung very heartily. The singing of “Auld Lang Syne” brought a very pleasant evening to a close.
The Bible 'Class wish to thank everyone far responding so generously to their appeal.
