PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH LADIES’ SOCIAL GUILD.

The monthly social afternoon of the Presbyterian Church Ladies’ Social Guild was held on Thursday at the residence of Mrs. J. Thomson. A most enjoyable time was spent by ail present. Two novel competitions caused much amusement and were won by Mesdames Nicol (Oroua Downs) and MeEwen respectively. A dainty afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostess. It was decided to hold a social aftegnoon and sale of Christmas 'cakes, etc., in the Town Hall sup-per-room, early in December.
