PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the local branch of the Plunket .Society was held in the Society’s rooms on Monday afternoon presided over by ,Alis. F. Robinson (president). There were also present: Mesdamcs Christie, Trueman, A.. Ross, Walton, Bain, Pgrreau, Adams and Barron (lion, sec.) An apology for absence was received from Mrs. F. Procter. An account of 9/9 was passed for payment. Mrs. F. Ro(hinson was appointed flower steward for November. Formal correspondence was read and received from the Central Council. Mr. I. Corn’s weighing machine receipts for October totalled 3/3. The nurse’s visits during October totalled 215. The sketch plan of the building was received from the architect and approved.
