METHODIST CHURCH.

A successful afternoon was held in the supper-room of the Town Hall on Wednesday by the Methodist Church guild. Solosjvere renilcred by Mrs. Riches and Miss Wilson and were very much appreciated. The effort- was quite a fin'rtiicial success and the ladies are to be congratulated for carrying oil without the help of their minister, the Rev. J. H. Edmondson, who was unavoidably detained at Synod.
