HIGH 'COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The (Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London, dated the 9th instant:—
Hemp:—-Manila ' easier, closing about steady. “J” grade Decem-ber-February shipments £34 10/-. Sisal easier and irregular. Closing values for Decernbef-February shipments good marks No. 1 £3B 10/-; No. 2, £37 10/-; afloat 10/less. New Zealand market quiet, tone easier in sympathy with others. Nominal comparative closing values for November-January shipments, high points, £33 to £33 10/-; fair, £3O; common, £2B. Tow 2nd grade, £2l 10/-; 3rd grade, £lB.
