FOXTON TENNIS CLUB.
COAIiMjITTEE MEETING. A committee meeting of the Foxton Tennis Gluhovas held at Air. L. C. Bryant’s residence -on Tuesday when there were present L. C, Bryant, and O. Duel, Misses M. Denton, and G. Neylon and Messrs L. C. Bryant (president), C. Procter, W. Roach, 0. Doe], AY. E. Alsop, and the secretary (Mr. A. B. MciCorkindaJe). Apologies for absence were received from Air. AY. Ross and Miss AI. Stevenson.
The secretary reported that the Levin Club proposed paying a friendly visit on Saturday and an invitation had been received from the Shannon Club for Foxton to visit there on ’ either the lfitli or 23rd inst.
. The donation of a cup by Air Frederick: Robinson was accepted with 1 thanks and it was decided, ii accordance with the donors wishes, that the cup he -awarded the best junior girl player and to be won outright.
A donation of a racquet was also received from Airs. Sherwood who was also accorded the Club’s I'll auks. The trophy is to be awarded [o the best junior player.
