Eltham, November 6,

At the Magistrate’s Court this morning (Captain MacGregor, a well-known airman of the Hamilton Airways, who has done a lot of flying on Sundays in Taranalki lately, was convicted and fined £1 and costs 10/- on one charge of Avorking in view of a public place'at his calling on Sunday, (October 20. Mechanic Eric Cniickshank, charged with aiding and abetting MacGregor, was similarly fined. Prior to the date of the offence the ministers in Eltham entered a protest to the Mayor against such flights. When the police informed the airmen that passenger carrying on Sunday Avould make them liable to prosecution he replied they Avould take the consequences.
