ARTESIAN WATER FOR PALMERSTON NORTH.
Palmerston North ratepayers yesterday carried a loan proposal of £14,000 for a supplementary artesian water supply. The poll was the poorest on record, only 26 per cent, on the roll exercised their privilege. The "voting was: For, 1024; against, 465.
