PRESENTATION.

A pleasing little ceremony was performed at the Methodist Cobweb Social last Tuesday evening when at a suitable juncture, Mr. H. Osborne, Hate choir master of the Methodist Church, called on Miss I. Hughes to accept a handsome bronze jardiniere from the choir and church members in honour of her approaching marriage. Mr. Osborne, in making the presentation, referred to Miss Hughes’ devotion and association with the church and choir and wished her every success and happiness for the future. Mr. R. T. Betty (choir master), also made eulogistic reference to Miss Hughes who was accorded musical honours. Miss Hughes suitably acknowledged the gift and good wishes accorded her.
