FOXTON-WELLINGTON PASSENGER SERVICE.
IMPROVED TRANSIT ARRANGE MENT'S.
Mr. F. Rout, proprietor of the Eoxton-Levin mail and passenger -etlvice, has completed arrangements in conjunction with the local postmaster, whereby Pox-ton passengers to Wellington will be able to eonnect at Levin with the down New Plymouth express to Wellington at 4 p.m, (arriving at Wellington at about 6 p.m.) instead of having to wait an houlr for the Pal-merston-Wellington train which arrives at Wellington shortly after 7 p.m. By connecting with the New Plymouth express, passengers are afforded a fast; and practically non-stop run to Wellington. The south mails will close at 3 p.m. instead of 3.15 p.m. and the mail car will leave at 3.1'5 p.m. instead of 3.30 p.m. The morning service will 'continue as at present. The now service will he much appreciated by the local public and will operate as from November Ist.
