£3OO IN GOLD FOUND:

Sydney, October 20. A Boys Scouts treasure hunt game near the T'aronga park zoo yesterday had an unexpectedly realistic denouement, when at a point where the soil worn by the weather, a boy noticed a bright glint of metal. Examination • disclosed a shining- receptacle containing about £3OO in sovereigns and 'half sovereigns which is supposed to have been buried ten or 15 years ago, probably after some robbery. The search was part of the Scout troop’s training- in resource and perception.
