CHILDREN’S HEALTH.
Ai the Education Board meeting on Wednesday afternoon, Dr. Elizabeth Gunn reported that some 11,206 children had been 'examined during the year and 7630 had delects . At the infant clinic some 708 children had been examined. Of 105 prospective candidates for the teaching profession examined only 17 had no defects. The chairman .asked Dr. Gunn if it were possible to have another health camp this year. Mr. Lethbridge had again offered to give the usual generous help he had given in the past. The doctor reported that, ol* the I'll children taken last, year 86 —that was 77 per cent. —had maintained improvement and eontinned to improve in health. The Board thought 'this was excellent, and ;it. was decided to hold the annual health camp this year from November 12 to December 19. The Board thanked the doctor and promised to give all possible help in connection with the camp.
