Conflict between love and loyalty never was more emphatic nor more dramatic than in “True Heaven,” Fox Film which comes to the Town Hall Cabaret oil Friday. Based on a magazine story by C. E. Montague and directed by James Tinling, “True {Heaven” tells of a young British officer, played by George O’Brien of “Sunrise” fame, and a beautiful but mysterious girl, “Judith,” played by Lois Moran. They meet, in a. strange way, back ol the British lines, and romance develops. Then they are separated to meet again within enemy lines, when the young oflicetr is trapped and it is blue girl who is confronted with the problem of either giving him up to be shot as a spy or free him. It is love for him or loyalty 1 to her country. Her great decision is drama of a superlative order. With “Bashful Jim” (Comedy), News and Scenic. Usual Cabaret prices. The British Dominion’s film version of “The Forger,”, which originally appeared as a serial in the “London Daily Mail,” is notable not only for being Edgar Wallace’s most thrilling story, but because it is portrayed by an exceptionally clever east of well-known artists, beaded by popular Lilian Rich. “The Forger” is Saturday’s, attraction at the Town Hall.
