UNUSUAL DEATH

At an inquest regarding the death of James Norries, aged. 59, poundkeeper, of Cambridge, the Coroner was unable to decide the cause of the' injury leading to death. Norrie;s was found unconscious last Saturday beside a horse which lie had been saddling. He did not, regain consciousness and died in the hospital at Hamilton on Thursday. A post-mortem examination revealed no external injuries, but there was a fracture of the skull five indies long and considerable laceration of the brain. The blow must have been severe. , The Coronetr remarked on the unusual nature of the injuries, and returned a verdict according to the medical evidence.
