SCHOOLMASTER’S TRAGIC DEATH.

Auckland, Last Night,

Massed from his bed about six o’clock this morning, Frederick Christopher Braithwaite, aged 49, a schoolmaster at Tamaki, was found by his eldest son lying dead iu the yard of his home. Beside his body was a shotgun. There was a wound in his left breast and deceased was clad in pyjamas. It is stated'’that daring the last few days Braithwaite had been in ill-health but he had no other worries.

Braithwaite was married and leaves a; wife snd five children.

The inquest was opened and adjourned,
