MANAWATU SPRING SHOW.

The annual Spring Show of the Manawatu A., aiul P. Association is | nearly here again, and the event ! this year promises to eclipse ail '.previous records. Entries are alj ready rolling in, the closing date ! tor the schools section being Satur- .' day, sth October. Features this ; year will he steer riding, military ! tattoo, and a display of gymnastics. 1 Of these .and other attractions, not I the least interesting and exciting I will he the steer riding, which has , been such a great success wherever iit has been hold. Following the • precedent set at the last Spring I show, the grounds will be open to I the public from 7 pan. to 10 pan., ! and a. very comprehensive proj gramme has been arranged for the I I public amusement. Entries in the i home industries, needlework and photography close on Saturday, 12th Octobetr, and the following j Saturday, 19th October will be the i last day for receiving entries in the 1 stock section. iSfceer riding entries j will close on 26th October, while I late foies will also be accepted on | that day for live stock iand ring l competitions, but each late entry ! must be accompanied by a fee of 1 2/6 extra.
