Johnston. W. Parata, T. Parata and D. Tatana are to play in the Prince of Wales Cup match at Wellington that day, and are not available to play for Manawhenua. VERSUS WELLINGTON.

At Levin on Saturday in the presence of a good attendance, Manawhenua defeated Wianganui by 13 points to 5 after a somewhat pa tcliy- game. At Masterton on Saturday, Wairarapa defeated Otago by 30 points to 19. .
Hawke’s Bay defeated the Ranfurly Shield holders ('Southland) at Napier on Saturday in a ragged exhibition by .26 points to 6. Canterbury went down to Wellington at Wellington on Saturday by 34 points to 6. At New Plymouth* on Saturday, Taranaki defeated Auckland by 14 points to 11. _
