TRAGIC FATAL FIRE.

FARM HOUSE AND OCCUPANTS BURNT. CHARRED REMAINS DISCOVERED BY MAORIS TO-DAY. Just as we go to press we received information to the effect that a house situated inland from the main road between Bainesse and Rangiotu owned by Mr. Westlake (and recently occupied by Mr. Crowe) was destroyed bv fire some time last night. It is feared that ail the occupants namely Mr. Westlake, Mr. and Mrs. Wright and their two children were burnt to death. The discovery of the fire and charred remains of the bodies was made by some Maoris at .about noon to-day and the police were immediately communicated with and have left for the scene.
