SECOND DAY’S RESULTS,

The second day of the Marton J.C. Spring meeting on , Thursday was more successful than the first, for beautiful spring weather prevailed. The totalisator took £12,103, against £13,480 for the second day of the 1927 meeting. The two days totals were:—l927, £30,060; 1929, £23,886. Results:— Novice Stakes, 0 furlongs and 27 yards:—Austerity 1, Juggle 2, W.henuatonga 3r Won by two lengths. Time 1.21 2-5. Second Hack Hurdles, 1 and a half miles: —Lady Gay 1, Glena Bay 2, Royal Elm 3. Won by a length. Time 2.59 3-5.

Wairoma Hack Handicap, 6 furlongs and 27 yards:—Full Mark 1, Black Maire 2, Bold Front 3. Won by three lengths. Time 1.21 4-5. Heaton' Park Handicap, 1 mile and 137 yards:—Barometer 1, Black Mint 2, Royal Game 3. Won by half a length. Time 2.0. Hack Steeples, two miles: —Red Fuchsia 1, Lieut. Bill 2, Scion 3. Won by three lengths. Time 4.48 3-5.

Ladies’ (Bracelet, 1 mile and 137 yards:—Calithe. 1, Royal Black 2, Peslnva 3. Won by half a head. Time 2.3 3-5.

Telegraph Handicap, 6. furlongs and 27 yards: —Bonogne 1, Dobbin 2, Oration 3. Won by three-lengths. Time *1.21 4-5.

Farewell Handicap, 5 furlongs:— Roi De Val 1, Some Acre 2, King Peg 3. Won by a length. Time 1.5 1-5.
