ENTERTAINMENT.

TOW HALL. Mabel Poulton, that clever young British film actress whose popularity is increasing amazingly, is the star attraction in the new British Dominion's! Fi!(in— I '‘Troublesome Wives,” coming to the Town Hall cabaret on Friday. This picture is full of bright entertainment, and provides plenty of thrills, intermingled with much clever comedy. Flying, sailing and motor boat scenes are elements in a story of two husbands who are so engrossed with their study of aircraft that their -ty-ives have reason to feel aggrieved, and become involved in a series of dangers which come near to wrecking their happiness and their husbands’ careers. A climax is reached in a fierce hand-to-hand struggle in a yacht belonging ito the villian of the story. Mabel Poulton as “ißetty,” the wife of Captain Tony Paget (Eric Bransby Williams), is very attractive, and even though her husband may be very much in love with his pet hobby of aviation, it is hard to understand why any man should leave so fascinating a wife just five minutes after the wedding ceremony. Eric Bransby Williams makes a fine hero, and acts with great nerve. Cabaret prices.

“Let ’er go Gallagher,” a fast moving and exciting melodrama will head a fine programme on Saturday. Usual prices.
