PERSONAL.

Mr. C. Spring is now about again a i ter his recent serious illness. Mr. and Mrs. W. Kirkland leave Foxton on a holiday visit to Greymouth to-morrow.

The friends of Mr. H. €oley will be pleased to learn that he is now able to get about again after his recent indisposition. Mrs. A. W. 0. Stevenson, of Wellington, is at present on holiday in the Marotiri district as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. Boswell.

The friends of Mrs. H. Podmore who recently entered the Palmerston Hospital for medical treatment will he pleased to learn that she lias 'returned to Foxton, much improved in health. The friends of Mr. F. Luciusky will be pleased to learn that he is making good progress towards recovery from his recent serious illness. He was able to_ get up on crutches on Monday and hopes to leave hospital, next week.
