HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

Tho judges for the elocutionatry and singing- competitions to be held in conjunction with the Spring Show have drawn up the following programme:—:

Singing: Boys and girls, from 16 years and under.

'Singing: (Boys and girls, from 12 years and under. ■Singing: Boys and girls, firorn 8 years and tinder. Recitation: Boys and girls, from 16 years and under. Recitation: Boys and girls, from 12 years and under.

Recitation: Btoys and girls, from 8 years and under.

Each contestant to select own song or recitation, which must not take more than four minutes to render.

Prizes are: Ist 4/6; 2nd 2/6 in each number. Entries will be free but entrants miust hand their names in to Die secretary by 8 p.m. on September 9 th, 1929, at 0. M. Ross Cov’s. rooms.

Children of the Foxton, Manama tu Heads, Oroua Downs and Mouton schools are eligible to enter for the above compel itious.
