CONCLUDING STAGES
The general expectation is that the Financial Debate, which has been in progress in the House of Representatives since Gth August, will be concluded this Aveek, probably on Thursday, leaving the Avay clear for the House to get on with the real Avork of the session—the enactment of the Government’s legislative proposals. It is possible that on Friday consideration will he given to the first classes of the Estimates, but the Prime Minister may adhere to lii’s promise to afford the House an early opportunity of discussing the recommendations of the committee Avhich submitted a report in regard to the cash order trading system.
