HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 17th instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:—• Hemp. —Manila market easier owing to adjustments. Statistics show large increase in stocks. Closing values for “J” grade Sep-tembeir-November shipments £3B 10/-. Sisal. —Market quiet. Value No. 1 good marks £4l 10/-; No. 2, £4O to £4O 5/-. New Zealand. —Continues enquiry for high points but shippers unable to offer on account of lack of supplies. Buyers show no disposition to operate in lower grades at prices asked. Comparative closing values are:—'High points, £35; fair, £32; common, £3O 10/-. Tow 2nd grade, £22; 3rd grade, £l7 15/-.
