SATURDAY'S RESULTS. NASH CUP. SENIOR, Wanderers 11 v. Shannon 6. JUNIOR, Shannon 11 v. Wanderers 5. THIRDS. Weraroa 11 v. T'okomaru 9. SCHOOLS. North 3 v. South 6. In the first round for the Nash Cup Wanderers defeated Shannon by 11 points to 6. . At half time Shannon led six points to nil, but the blacks came away with 11 points in the second half. Shannon’s score was filled by Putti (try) and Mason (penalty goal). By defeating Tokomaru, Weraroa wins the third grade championship. On Saturday morning, representatives from the primary schools of the northern* end played the representatives of those of the southern end, the game resulting in a win to the south by six points to three. After the match the representative team was chosen, and another game, representatives v. the rest was played, resulting in a win for the representatives by nine points to .three. The following have been chosen to represent the northern end in the junior section in a tjrial match against the southern end on Saturday next:—Mabey (Shannon), Croon (Foxton), Huff (Foxton), Newman (Shannon), Stevenson (Foxton), iSaxoni ('Shannon), Hirini (Wanderers), MeCorkindale (Foxton), Lankshear (iShannon), Whyman (Wanderers), Jude (Shannon), Anderson (Foxton), Taylor (Weraroa), Ward (Weraroa), Ngatuna (Shannon). Reserves: Backs: Hartley ((Foxton), jDavis (Weraroa ); forwards: H. Curran (Shannon}, J. McDonald (Wanderers).
