PERSONAL.
Mr. J. Claris, of Hataitai, Wellington, paid a brief Visit to Foxtou this week. Rev. Geo. A. Young, recently Vicar of Raglan, has been appointed to succeed Rev. A. J. -Parnell, as Vicar of Shannon. Rev. Mr. Young, who is unmarried, was at one time a master at Huntly .School, Marlon, and after serving in the war was ordained by the Bishop of London for the Bishop of Auckland, to which Diocese lie came in 1920. He will take up his duties in ‘Shannon immediately after the departure of the Rev. Mir. Parnell for Opunake.
