HIMATANGI SHIPPING CO., LTD.
MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS,
The first statutory meeting of shareholders of the Himatangi Shipping Co., Ltd. was held last night and was well attended. The preliminary steps taken in connection with the purchase of the steamer, etc., were confirmed and the following Directors elected: — Messrs Perreau, W. E. Barber, F. C. Bailees, Win. Trueman, ,1. K. Hornblow, Gibbons (Palmerston N.) and A. Hopwood (Palmerston N.). Mi'. S. Holm was appointed managing secretary. Shares were alloted and (the Directors -authorised to dispose of the balance as they deemed desirable.
A meeting of the Directors was subsequently held and Mil’. Perreau appointed chairman. Shareholders expressed their appreciation of the prospects ahead of the company and the suitability of the steamer for the work the vessel will engage in.
