ENGINEER INJURED.

Waipahu ran, July 8. Mir. R. Chime, engineer and contractor, was engaged in obtaining ballast metal from the Ttdri Tuki River for the Railway Department on 'Saturday afternoon, and after altering the draft of the dragline of the machine hauling the shingle through the niver the tower at which Mr. Climiie was standing was suddenly thrown over, pinning him to the ground. The victim was removed to the Waipukurau Hospital with ,a fractured shoulder and scalp wounds. His condition is satisfactory. Mr. Climie was well-known locally, having supervised the erec-'"" tion of the local water tower and installation of the Borough water and drainage installation a few years ago.
