Marton, July 9. \ In Mairtoii recently a local schoolteacher missed her month’s salary, amounting to £lB. By elever work, the police made an arrest in Wlellington, and Phillip A. Rosier, alias Geislev, alias Has lea - , appeared in' the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. He was charged also with obtaining credit by fraud at a local hotel. On the first charge he was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, and on the second to one month. Kesler is awaiting sentence for s tealing a gold watch and chain at Wanganui.
