FATAL ACCIDENT.
Wellington, Last Night. On Sunday evening, (Mr. Henry Bodley, a, well-known old Wellington settler, was killed through falling under a train at Paokalkarilri, where he was stepping off for refreshments. For some years past he had-divided his time between his home in Wellington and the residence of his son, 'Mir. A. G. Bodley, at Ohau, travelling hack and forth every week; and on his last trip he was looking forward, despite his advanced age of 78, to' transacting sonic important business in the city. He leaves ttiwo sons —Messrs Thomas M. Bodley (Havelock N.) and Arthur G. Bodley (Ohau); and two daughters —Mrs. G’dlin, of the State Forestry Department, Wellington, and Mss Bodley, Tinakori Road. The deceased and Mrs. Bodley celebrated their golden wedding about two months ago.
