WEDDINGS.

OUMMERFIELD —TURNER. A quiet but pretty wedding of local and district interest Avas celebrated in All Saints’ Church, Foxton, yesterday afternoon AA’hen Joseph Albert, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Cunumerfield, of Foxton, Avas united to Doris Maude, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Tur,ncr, of 'Palmerston North. The Bov. W. H. Walton was the officiating minister. 1 The bride Avas ehajrmingly attired in a French model frock of crepe-de-chene with georgette skirt of uneven hem and wore a beautiful hand-embroidered tullei flowing veil together with the orthodox orange .blossom. She carried a pretty shower bouquet of freesias, roses and fern caught together with cream satin ribbon. The bride was given away by her mother and was attended by her sister, Miss Adelene Turner, as bridesmaid, who was attired in a pretty blue crepe-de-chene frotek with picot frilled skirt and head dress to match and carried a bouquet of Iceland poppies, marigolds, and other flowers with autumn tints. Mi'. E. Cunningham, of Palmerston 'North, carried out the duties of best man. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a motor-car and to the bridesmaid a gold ajrmlet. Miss N. Robinson presided at the organ. After the ceremony the breakfast was held at Walls,’ where the usual toasts were honoured and speeches made. , The bride’s mother Avas attired in a becoming navy blue costume and carried a i bouquet of A'iolets, the 'bridegroom’s mother being dressed in a. .smart navy blue costume with model hat to match and carried a posey of violets and daphne. La ter in the day the happy couple left by car for New Plymouth, where the honeymoon will be spent, after which Mr. and Mrs. Cummerfield will take up their residence in FoXton. WILSON —CAMPBELL. The wedding Avas celebrated in the local Methodist Church this morning by Rey. Edmondson of Ansley Crawford, second son of Mr. >and Mrs. A. H. Wilson, Marotiri, to Flora Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. and Mjrs. D. H. Campbell, also of Marotiri, full particulars of which Avill appear in our next issue.
