ANALYSIS OF [CONSUMPTION. At the monthly meeting of the Horowhemia. Power Board on Tuesday, the following analysis of the connected load to June 12th, 1929, was presented by the Engineer (Mr. J. A Smith): — k.w. Lighting 1057 No. Tl. h.p. Industrial motors 327 2847 Milking motors 425 617 Ik.w. Heating and iron points 2961 2146 Ranges 383 2411 Water-heaters 644 407 No. of consumers — Connected 3019 Applications 3052 Total connected k.w. 8608 Reporting on the period since the last Board meeting, the Engineer stated that fourteen applications from new consumers and 30 applications for extensions to existing installations wiere received, comprising nine ranges, eight waterheaters, four milking and separating motors, four shearing and one pumping motor. Eleven new consumers and 22 extensions were connected, including four ranges, five waterheaters, one milking and two industrial motors, making a. total increase of 53.580 k.w.
